Somatic work helps you understand how your emotions live in the body. Instead of processing everything with the mind, we explore the physical patterns—tension, breath, posture, sensation—that hold emotional experiences in place.
Through gentle guided awareness, breathwork, touch, and trauma-informed presence, you learn to recognize what your body is communicating. As these patterns unwind, your nervous system settles, emotional clarity emerges, and you become better able to respond to life rather than react to it.

Heart Coherence & Breathing
The heart is more than a muscle—it’s a compass. When the breath becomes steady and intentional, the rhythm of the heart begins to shift, creating a coherent field that calms the mind and softens the body.
Heart coherence is the quiet alignment between breath, emotion, and inner truth. As you slow down and breathe with awareness, the body remembers safety. The heart becomes a steady drum, guiding the nervous system back into harmony. In this space, clarity returns, intuition strengthens, and the Self feels more spacious and alive.
Breath is the bridge between chaos and calm. Coherence is the doorway back home.
Simple Self-Practice:
The 3-Minute Coherence Reset
1. Sit or stand with both feet on the ground.
Let your shoulders drop. Let your jaw unclench.
No need to force anything — just arrive.
2. Place one hand on your chest and one on your lower abdomen.
Feel where your breath naturally is.
No judgment, just noticing.
3. Breathe slowly into your lower hand.
Inhale through the nose for a count of 4.
Pause briefly.
Exhale through the mouth for a count of 6.
Let the exhale be long and steady.
4. Bring your attention to your heart.
Imagine breathing in and out of the center of your chest.
Let the breath soften the area around your heart.
5. Recall something that brings a sense of gratitude or warmth.
A moment with your child, a place in nature, a person you trust.
Let the feeling be subtle — not forced.
6. Stay here for 5–10 breaths.
Feel your system settle.
Feel your body shift toward calm and coherence.
Heart Shen & Breath Regulation
In Chinese medicine, the Heart houses the Shen—your clarity, presence, and inner light. When the Heart is unsettled, the Shen becomes scattered: the mind races, emotions feel turbulent, and the body loses its sense of direction.
Breath is one of the most direct ways to calm and anchor the Heart. Slow, steady breathing guides the Shen back into its home, restoring emotional balance, mental clarity, and a sense of inner steadiness.
By regulating breath and settling the chest, you support the Heart in its role as the leader of the body—allowing your whole system to move toward harmony, coherence, and a clearer expression of your true Self.
